Today the Panel in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry is publishing its final report dealing with
the root causes of the fire.
The Grenfell Tower Inquiry has today published its second and final report into the
circumstances leading up to and surrounding the fire at Grenfell Tower in the early
hours of 14 June 2017.

With the anniversary of the fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017 approaching, the Inquiry Panel has released the following statement:
“On the seventh anniversary of the terrible fire at Grenfell Tower the Panel and the all the members of the Inquiry team offer their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved, survivors and all those whose lives were irrevocably changed by the disaster. We think of the Grenfell Tower community while we continue to work on the Inquiry’s final
report, which will be published on 4th September.”
The Inquiry has written to core participants to inform them that the Phase 2 report will be published on Wednesday 4 September 2024. Further information about the arrangements for publication will be published in due course.
In accordance with rule 17 of the Inquiry Rules 2006, core participants will be provided with copies of the report on Tuesday 3 September 2024 under embargo.
