Update on Inquiry Hearings
Summer Break
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Colin Todd is no longer giving evidence this week. This means the Inquiry will not sit in the afternoon of Wednesday 21 July 2021 or on Thursday 22 July 2021. An updated timetable for this week can be found here.
Colin Todd shall give evidence next week instead. The timetable for next week’s hearings will be published on Friday as usual.

Limited attendance hearings
On the fourth anniversary of the fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017, the Inquiry Panel has made the following statement:
We know that this is a very difficult time for all those who have been affected by the fire which engulfed Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017. On this fourth anniversary of the tragedy the Panel and the whole of the Inquiry team offer their deepest sympathy to the bereaved, survivors and other members of the community whose lives were shattered by it.
The Inquiry will not be sitting on Monday 14 June which marks the fourth anniversary of the fire at Grenfell Tower.
Hearings will resume on Tuesday 15 June at 10:00.

Resumption of limited attendance hearings
Following the release of the government’s roadmap out of lockdown, the Inquiry has shared with core participants its high-level plan to resume hearings from its venue in 13 Bishop’s Bridge Road. This will be dependent on the government’s roadmap being implemented as anticipated. Enabling the bereaved, survivors and residents to attend hearings in person remains a priority and the Panel still intends to permit this as soon as it is safe to do so.
