Module 6 hearings
The Greater Manchester Health Integrated Care Board, to be responsible for the NHS across Greater Manchester, has announced that current Inquiry Secretary Mark Fisher has been appointed, from July, as its first Chief Executive. Mark will leave at the point that formal hearings are scheduled to finish, and as the Inquiry Panel begins to draw its conclusions and write its report. They will continue to be supported by the secretariat team.

Module 6 hearings
Evidential hearings for Module 6 have resumed.
The Inquiry will now be holding its next community drop-in session on Thursday 3 February 2022 from 16:30-17:30 at the Inquiry's premises at 13 Bishop's Bridge Road, London, W2 6BU.

Resumption of hearings
The Government announced last night a series of measures in response to the rising number of cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19. One of those measures is that, from Monday 13th December, those who can are advised to work from home.
The majority of legal representatives have been participating in the Inquiry remotely. We ask you to continue to do so, only attending by exception where it is absolutely necessary.

The Inquiry has updated the provisional timetable for Phase 2 hearings to include approximate timings for opening and closing submissions. Please note this is subject to change depending upon the Inquiry's continuing investigations and planning which may affect the length of each module.
