The Grenfell Tower Inquiry has closed
The Chairman of the Inquiry, Sir Martin Moore-Bick, has written to the Prime Minister to notify him that the Inquiry has completed its Terms of Reference. A copy of the letter can be found here.
The Grenfell Tower Inquiry’s final report was published on 4th September 2024. With the necessary administrative arrangements made, the Inquiry is now in a position to close formally.

The contents of this website will be transferred to The National Archives' online Discovery Platform where it will be available to the public to view in due course, together with the evidence used by the Inquiry and other records significant in explaining its conduct.
